The use of various rooms and the sanctuary of the Unity East Church are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Most are available most days of the week, including Saturday before 1:00pm and after 4:00pm and Sundays after 12:30pm.

The rooms that are available are the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, the Children's Church (Small Hall) and the rear area of the church Campus (grounds) between the church building and the parking lot.

The Church Sanctuary can seat up to 125 people. We can add in seating by opening the wall between the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall, adding up to 50 more seats.

Rooms are available for events such as Weddings, and Receptions, Anniversaries, Memorial Services, Meetings, Conferences, Seminars and Social Gatherings.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted, unless by prior arrangement with the Senior Minister and Board of Trustees and as required by law with the State of Michigan, the Country of Macomb and/or the Charter Township of Clinton.

The use of Tobacco products within the church building premises, is not permitted. Tobacco use is limited to the exterior of the church

Events must be scheduled and a deposit paid to secure the scheduled event and use of premises as specified in the rental agreement. It is suggested that desired dates be presented at least three (3) consecutive months before the actual date is to occur. It is recommended that more than one date be considered.

Requests for Memorial Services should be made at least two weeks prior to the the service date. However, if the rental schedule permits, a shorter period of time for such a request may be honored.

While it is not anticipated that an event (for example a Wedding) will require more that the Sanctuary or a particular room for more than it's intended purpose, receptions thereafter are not unknown and therefore an additional fee may be necessary with that in regards.

Church members have precedence of the selection of event dates, unless a date has already been secured by a rental agreement and deposit paid.

Deposits collected are NON-REFUNDABLE from non-members  and REFUNDABLE to church members, up to SEVEN (7) Days before the event, in the event a cancellation must be requested.

Notes and Explanations:

(1) includes restrooms use and renter does clean up. Otherwise a $50.00 Clean Up Fee is assessed.
(2) includes all in note 1 and Caterer/Renter does kitchen cleanup. Otherwise a $50.00 Clean Up Fee is assessed.
(3) Use of Church Sound System requires a Sound System Supervisor/Technician. Otherwise a $25.00 Use Fee is assessed.
(4) Fee waved if providing own vocal soloist.
(5) Fee for use of keyboard is $100.00 when providing own accompanist.

* OTHER EXPENSES include, items for weddings, anniversaries, music, flowers, carpets and runners, ribbon ties, other decorations, food, wait service, dishes, silverware and glassware.

** If ANY use of an accompanying room for other than for staging to enter another room is apparent, the Rental Fee for than room will be assessed.

*** Deposit $75.00 church members only.
Cancellations must be requested at least SEVEN (7) Calendar Days prior to the event date. Deposit Refundable upon timely cancellation. Renters must remove all items relative to their event that are not owned by the church proper. The church is not responsible for any items that are not the property of the church.

**** Deposit for non-members: A NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit of 25% of the total Rental Amount plus Other Expenses and Fees.

The church is not responsible for any items that are not the property of the church.

Please note that a $25.00 Opening/Closing Fee is included in the room rental amounts only. This does not include any cleanup (see above).
